Medlearn has been delivering adult education courses since 1999 and trains around 3,800 students per year. In addition to adult education, Medlearn also provides an extensive range of vocational training, specialising in health & social care, dental care and disability. We also provide continuing education and competence development for personnel in the field of health and social care.

Furthermore, we offer university distance-learning courses in Sweden in collaboration with Bjørknes University College, Oslo, which is part of our group. Our mission statement is to offer adult training courses at all levels, with a firm emphasis on health and social care. Medlearn has been specifically tasked by its owners to focus on quality and social engagement in order to help our students progress into employment or further studies.

Medlearn AB is wholly owned by Anthon B Nilsen Utbildning AB, which is itself owned by the Norwegian training group Anthon B Nilsen Utdanning AS, which is, in turn, 50% owned by the charitable foundation ”Reidar og Gunnar Holsts Legat”. This group, which comprises 13 training companies in Norway and Sweden, trains a total of around 40,000 students per year, 7,000 of them in Sweden
